The first option is a three day/two night tour to explore Khmer culture in southern Soc Trang Province and to visit Ca Mau, the southern tip of the country. The tour is package priced at VND1.85 million per person.

This tour departs from Can Tho City to Soc Trang Province to visit sanctuaries such as Dat Set (Clay) Pagoda and Doi (Bat) Pagoda.

Dat Set is famous for its more than 1,000 statues of baked clay and its giant ceremonial candles. The pagoda was founded by a Chinese family more than 200 years ago. With walls of clay, Dat Set’s claim to fame is its collection of colorful clay statues, many of which are life-size. Inside the pagoda are eight 200 kg candles which were made by the Ngo family in 1940. Two of the candles have been burning non-stop since Tong died in July 1970.

Doi Pagoda was built during the 16th century and is famous for its beautiful architecture, especially its very large roof that houses tens of thousands of bats.

The next stop is Bac Lieu Province to visit Chen Kieu Pagoda. This sanctuary is skillfully decorated with a layer of stylishly designed bowls and plates of different colors made by ancient artisans. The Bac Lieu Bird Yard, with thousands of birds and storks, is also on the itinerary.

On the second day, tourists will be taken to Ca Mau, the southern tip of the country. Visiting Dat Mui Tourist Site, guests have a chance to view the whole panorama of Ca Mau from a 20.5 meter high forest watch gazebo.

The last day is for drifting on the river and shopping at the biggest floating market of the delta, Cai Rang Floating Market, to experience the down to earth lifestyle of the South. There is a wonderful garden here serving juicy fruits and stimulating teas.

The second option is a three day/two night tour to discover That Son Mountain and the coastal city of Ha Tien package priced at VND1.6 million per person.

The first day heads to Chau Doc to visit Ba Chua Xu Temple, Lang Thoai Ngoc Hau and Tay An Co Tu, then to shop for specialties at Chau Doc Market and a trek to That Son Mountain.

On the second day, it’s time to break out the bikinis and trunks as the tour goes to Kien Giang Province’s Mui Nai Beach to play with the waves and worship the sun.

The next day visits Mac Cuu Temple to hear the story of the Mac family who has devoted their life to protecting the terrain. In the afternoon, tourists will have time to contemplate nature on local islets and visit a crocodile grotto.

The third day visits Can Tho for some shopping at Cai Rang Floating Market.
